The prestigious title of “Best Port of the Caribbean” has been awarded to Port Castries, Saint Lucia by Editor-In-Chief, Mr. Bill Panoff of Porthole Cruise Magazine.
Port Castries is managed and operated by the Saint Lucia Air and Sea Ports Authority (SLASPA), welcomes over 300 cruise ships and handles approximately 600,000 cruise passengers per year.
Director of Marketing and Product Development Dona Regis says a lot of investments in infrastructure and facilities were made in the development of Port Castries. She said: “SLASPA continues to play a great role in the development of the cruise industry and winning this award reaffirms that we are doing something remarkable in Saint Lucia.”
