Places to visit: St Lucia attractions
For a small island, St Lucia has many attractions that are worth visiting. From natural attractions to man-made, there’s plenty to see and do during your visit to St Lucia.
- Waterfalls and springs including Diamond Falls (Soufriere), Toraille Waterfall and Gardens (Soufriere), River Rock Waterfall (Anse La Raye), and Sulphur Springs Park (Soufriere), with a drive-through volcano and sulphurous black springs where you can bathe in the mineral-rich waters (pictured above)
- Historic buildings including Marquis Plantation (Dauphin), Balenbouche Estate (Choiseul), Fond Doux Estate (Soufriere) and an old sugar mill at Anse La Raye
- The National Park at Pigeon Island, which has more history than any other part of St Lucia. Once the home of the Amerindians, it has at various times throughout history been a pirate hideout and military base.
- Rainforests – for information about organised tours of St Lucia’s rainforests, please visit our organised tours page.
